1. THREE-PIECE SWING-OUT BODY:
The unique three-piece construction consists of a center body and two end caps held together by high-tensile bolts. This design allows the center section to “swing out” for rapid seat and seal replacement while the end caps remain fixed to the pipeline, significantly reducing maintenance downtime.
2. BLOWOUT-PROOF STEM:
The stem is internally loaded and features a shoulder that prevents it from being ejected under high-pressure conditions. This safety-critical design ensures operational security and meets stringent industrial safety standards.
3. ISO 5211 MOUNTING PAD:
The top plate is precision-machined to ISO 5211 dimensions. This allows for the direct mounting of handles, gear operators, or pneumatic and electric actuators, ensuring perfect alignment and a compact automation footprint.
4. THRUST WASHER & PACKING:
Equipped with a primary PTFE thrust washer to reduce friction and operating torque. The multi-layer stem packing system is designed to absorb side-loading and thermal expansion, preventing atmospheric leakage.
5. LIVE-LOADED STEM SEAL:
Self-adjusting Belleville washers provide a live-loaded seal, automatically compensating for packing wear and temperature fluctuations. This ensures a consistent, positive seal in both directions and keeps environmental contaminants from entering the stem bore.
6. END CONNECTIONS:
Available in Screwed (NPT/BSP) or Socket Weld (SW) ends. In the Socket Weld version, the 3-piece design allows the end caps to be welded to the pipe without damaging the internal soft seats, as the center section can be removed during the welding process.
7. FULL BORE DESIGN:
The internal diameter matches the pipe size exactly, providing a Full Bore flow path. This ensures maximum flow capacity, zero pressure drop, and eliminates the risk of media buildup or turbulence within the valve body.
8. PRECISION POLISHED BALL:
The solid stainless steel ball is spherically machined and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This precision engineering produces a bubble-tight shut-off, minimizes operating torque, and extends the life of the reinforced PTFE (RPTFE) seats.
