Allsen Pneumatic Actuator
Scotch Yoke Actuator
ALLSEN Scotch Yoke Actuators are designed to deliver superior torque output where it matters most during valve breakaway and seating.
Featuring a rugged scotch yoke mechanism, precision-machined components, corrosion-resistant construction, and adjustable travel stops, they provide reliable quarter-turn automation for demanding oil & gas, chemical, power, water, and process industry applications.
1. Scotch Yoke Mechanism:
Converts linear piston motion into rotary output, delivering exceptionally high breakaway and seating torque for demanding valve applications.
2. Heavy-Duty Cylinder:
Precision-machined cylinder with corrosion-resistant internal surfaces ensures smooth operation, long service life, and consistent actuator performance.
3. High-Strength Yoke:
Manufactured from high-grade alloy steel to withstand heavy loads while providing efficient torque transmission with minimal wear.
4. Hardened Guide System:
Precision-guided piston assembly minimizes side loading, reducing friction and enhancing operational stability throughout the stroke.
5. Drive Shaft:
A robust alloy steel output shaft is precision-machined for high torque transmission and secure valve mounting under severe operating conditions.
6. Spring Return Module:
Pre-engineered spring cartridges provide dependable fail-safe operation, ensuring automatic valve positioning during loss of air supply. (Applicable for Spring Return models.)
7. Travel Stop Adjustment:
External adjustable travel stops enable precise valve alignment and accurate setting of open and closed positions without dismantling the actuator.
8. Sealing System:
High-performance seals and bearings minimize air leakage while protecting internal components from dust, moisture, and harsh environmental conditions.
9. Protective Coating:
Epoxy-coated or corrosion-resistant housing enhances durability and provides excellent protection in offshore, marine, and industrial environments.
10. Fasteners:
Stainless steel or corrosion-resistant fasteners improve structural integrity while simplifying maintenance in aggressive operating environments.
