2 Piece Design Pneumatic Operated Ball Valve
Series 2000
A 2-Piece Design Pneumatic Operated Ball Valve consists of two body sections with a ball inside.
It is operated by a pneumatic actuator for automatic on/off control.
The design offers reliable sealing, easy maintenance, and efficient flow control.
1. TWO-PIECE SPLIT BODY:
The body is constructed of two high-precision investment cast parts (Body and End Cap). This design allows for a Full Bore flow path, minimizing pressure drop and turbulence. The split-body construction also allows for easy disassembly for seat and seal replacement.
Equipped with a high-performance aluminum alloy pneumatic actuator. Available in both Double Acting and Spring Return (Fail-Safe) configurations. The hard-anodized internal and external surfaces provide superior corrosion resistance and high-cycle life.
3. DIRECT MOUNT ISO 5211 PAD:
The valve features an integrated ISO 5211 mounting flange. This allows the pneumatic actuator to be mounted directly to the valve stem without brackets or couplings, ensuring perfect alignment, reduced hysteresis, and a more compact automation package.
4. ADJUSTABLE STEM PACKING:
The stem assembly includes a primary PTFE thrust washer and an adjustable gland nut. This ensures that any packing wear can be compensated for without removing the actuator, maintaining a bubble-tight seal around the stem at all times.
5. BLOWOUT-PROOF STEM & SEAL:
The internal entry stem is designed to be blowout-proof, providing maximum safety under high-pressure conditions. The double “U” cup or V-ring packing system is self-adjusting to prevent environmental contaminants from entering the stem bore.
6. FLANGED OR SCREWED ENDS:
Available with ANSI/ASME Flanged or Threaded (NPT/BSP) end connections. The two-piece design ensures that the end-cap remains securely torqued to the body, providing a rigid and leak-free connection to the piping system.
7. HIGH-INTEGRITY REPLACABLE SEATS:
The valve utilizes reinforced PTFE (RPTFE) seats that provide a flexible, “living” seal. This tongue-and-groove seat design isolates the flowing media from the body and provides bi-directional, bubble-tight shut-off.
8. ACTUATOR ACCESSORIES & CONTROL:
The actuator housing is pre-drilled to NAMUR standards. This allows for the easy addition of solenoid valves, limit switch boxes, and positioners to provide real-time feedback and precise flow control for automated processes.
