Allsen Check Valve

Dual Plate Check Valve

Dual Plate Check Valves are high-performance wafer check valves designed to provide reliable backflow prevention with exceptional flow efficiency. Featuring two spring-loaded semicircular plates, these valves offer faster response, lower pressure drop, and reduced water hammer compared to conventional swing check valves.

Their compact and lightweight construction makes them ideal for modern piping systems where space, efficiency, and dependable operation are critical. They are widely used across oil & gas, chemical processing, water treatment, power generation, marine, and industrial process applications.

1. BODY:
The valve body is manufactured with a compact wafer design for installation between standard pipeline flanges. Engineered to withstand demanding operating conditions, it offers excellent structural strength, dimensional accuracy, and compatibility with a wide range of international flange standards. Multiple body material options are available to suit various pressure ratings, temperatures, and service media.

2. DISC:
The dual semi-circular discs are designed to open with forward flow and close automatically when flow reverses, providing dependable backflow prevention. Their lightweight, balanced construction minimizes pressure drop, reduces flow turbulence, and enables rapid closure for enhanced system protection. A variety of disc materials are available to match different industrial applications.

3. SEAT:
The precision-engineered seat ensures reliable shut-off and leak-tight sealing during reverse flow conditions. Available in resilient elastomer and optional metal seat configurations, it can be selected to meet specific temperature, pressure, and media compatibility requirements while delivering long-lasting sealing performance.

4. STEM:
The high-strength stem provides secure support and accurate alignment for the dual discs throughout their operation. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials, it ensures smooth disc movement, reduces wear, and contributes to the valve’s long operational life even in demanding service environments.

5. SPRING:
The spring mechanism enables rapid and synchronized closing of both discs immediately after forward flow decreases or stops. This quick response minimizes reverse flow, reduces water hammer, and enhances overall system safety. Springs are available in multiple stainless steel grades for superior corrosion resistance and durability.
